BANK OF IRELAND “ENTERPRISE TOWN” RETURNS TO ABBEYLEIX AND DURROW: Calling all businesses and community clubs/organisations to get involved on the 21st of October! Abbeyleix and Durrow have been selected as Bank of Ireland ‘Enterprise Town’ in 2017. Bank of Ireland are very excited to see the return of Enterprise Town to Abbeyleix & Durrow and are delighted to see the great level of support from the local communities for the initiative and are calling on businesses and community groups in Abbeyleix & Durrow to get involved. Businesses, clubs and societies interested in taking part in the events can register by emailing Karen Flanagan Branch Manager Durrow on karen.flanagan@boi.com or Jason Ryan Branch Manager Abbeyleix on jason.ryan@boi.com or calling into the Abbeyleix or Durrow branches to speak to a member of staff.
Laois Trip have kindly organised a bus to Durrow & Abbeyleix Enterprise Town Event which will take place in Heywood Community School 21st October from 11am to 3pm. There will be over 60 local businesses, Clubs and Societies displaying at the event. We have entertainment organised, Spink Comhaltas, Durrow & District Pipe band, Irish dancing, local Choir, Irish Heath Foundation, business panel discussion and sports panel discussion plus much more. The bus will leave Durrow at 10.30am and Abbeyleix at 10.45am – free of charge. The bus will stay for two hours and will drop you back to Durrow and Abbeyleix. This is a fun, free, family event and I hope you can join us!
