THIRD LAOIS DURROW SCOUTS: We have had a busy start to the scout year this year with our Beavers and Cubs camping at Knockanoran in Bridie Dunne’s field. Thank you very much to Bridie for hosting. Our beavers and cubs had a great weekend and the weather held up well for them.

Our Scouts went out on a night hike last Thursday and had a great time – a great night for hiking.

The Scout shop visited our Den on the 27th of September – sadly this was not well supported and it was very disappointing.

Our Scouts will travel to Carne Co. Wexford on the weekend of the 24th of October for a Provincial camp called Spraoi. This promises to be a great camp with lots of fun activities included.

We will take in new members from our waiting list after mid-term break. Those on the list the longest will get first preference. You will be contacted shortly. Outstanding insurance for the year 2014-15 is now due.
