Little Oaks

Little Oaks Parent and Toddler Group started up in 2006. We meet on a Tuesday morning at the Presentation Centre in Durrow. It is a chance for parents of infants and preschool children to meet and for the children to socialise and do activities such as art and craft. The group is voluntary and non-profit and is run by cheerful parents. During the summer the group try and meet at different venues such as the playground.

The group provides a venue for parents to have an informal place to talk about parenting issues and have a bit of support. The meetings also provide a place for toddlers to play together in a social environment and have a bit of fun. The last few years we have also taken part in the local St Patrick’s Day parade. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 10am in The Presentation Centre, Durrow (beside RC Church). New members are always welcome.
