Youth Choir

The Durrow Youth Choir, which was formed Vicky Murphy, commenced on 17th April 2012. This Choir ranges in age from 7 to 17 years. There are seventeen members in the choir and practices are on every Tuesday from 4.15pm to 5.30pm (September to June) in the Community Centre.

There are a lot of talented singers involved in the choir. This term we had a repertoire of mainly popular songs which the children loved. The enthusiasm from all involved is fantastic. The Choir performed for all parents and friends on the 2nd July 2012. This was a very successful event and thoroughly enjoyed by the very large attendance. The Choir will resume in September 2012 where new genres of musical styles will be introduced. New members are always welcome.
