Conall-Whelan-DurrowConall Whelan was awarded Leinster Orienteering Champion in M18 Elite Class in Lough Firrib, Wicklow last weekend. Conall was fifth in his category but first from the Leinster Province and as he is in the first year of this class, this is a great achievement. Conall had a time of 93 minutes over a tough 7.8km course (as the crow flies) with 315m climb. Conall will be competing in the Schools All Ireland Championships on Thursday next in Castlecomer and the All Ireland Orienteering Championships next weekend in Northern Ireland. Best of Luck Conall!
