Our Ventures are busy making plans for their Summer Camp when they will travel to Tramore Co. Waterford – all are looking forward to this camp. The Ventures are also booking into Jamboree 18 which will be held in Stradbally Co. Laois and it will be a great opportunity and experience – one that should not be missed. The Ventures will be running a few fundraisers over the rest of this year to help cover costs, all support would be greatly appreciated in order for us to facilitate our youth in attending.
The Cubs have taken part in the recent County Cub Camp which was themed “Pirates”. They had a blast and even learned how to cook pizza in a cardboard box! Arrrgh!!! They are now off to Larch Hill for the June Bank Holiday weekend, hoping that the weather will stay fine.
Congratulations to our Scouts member Oisin Dunne on competing and winning a Gold Medal at the European Kettlebells competition held in Athens last weekend – a fantastic achievement!
