WANTED: 18TH CENTURY COSTUMES: Do you have any costumes stashed away in your attic and if so, would you loan them to the White Lady Drama Group for their forthcoming production. We would be very appreciative indeed of any help in this regard. Please contact Anne Conroy on (086) 6079069.
COOK SCHOOL: A Cook School will be held in Cullohill Community Centre from Tuesday 19th August to Friday 22nd August. The times are from 10am to 2:30pm each day for boys and girls aged from 8 to 12 years old. The school costs €65 per child. For more information or to book a please contact Caitriona on (087) 7808711.
BALINAKILL HEATED OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL: The outdoor heated pool at Ballinakill is open for the summer of 2014. Contact Anthony on (089) 4581165 or visit www.swimminganalysis.ie online.
DURROW TIDY TOWNS: A clean-up of the Derry Road takes place every Thursday night from 8pm to 9pm. Meet at the Pound. Please bring a brush or spade. Litter bags will be provided. We ask all residents to please keep the road frontage of your house clean & swept & also to put out window boxes and hanging baskets if at all possible. Together we can make a difference as many hands make light work.

SATURDAY MARKET: Durrow Saturday market is open every Saturday from 9am to 12.30pm in the Computer Centre beside the RC Church on the Kilkenny Rd. Potato’s and Fresh Vegetables are available, to book your favourites please ring Marie on (087) 7742506.
Home Baking from Bernie Brennan is also now available with a selection of fresh breads, scones, tarts and cakes. You can also book cakes for parties etc. with Bernie. Do come along, great value on offer!
DURROW REMINISCING GROUP: A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who bought the reminiscing book “Durrow & Cullohill Gatherings 2013”. WEIGHTWATCHERS CLASSES: Classes are held every Monday in The Presentation Centre, Kilkenny Road, Durrow from 8pm to 9pm. The classes are under new management with leader Marnie Maguire. Come along and join our Summer Challenge!
