handballCongratulations to St. Brigid’s Handball Club on winning their first ever 60×30 club Junior All-Ireland Title after defeating Broadford in the final. On the team were Ray Fogarty, Tomas Lennon, Aidan Dowling and Michael Donovan and coached by Jimmy Fogarty. Jimmy and Ray are father and son and come from Derreen, Durrow and the other three members are from the locality. Well done to all concerned and we wish them all well in the individuals championship.
