Harps Camogie Club News – November 2020
HARPS CAMOGIE: Camogie Club Games Postponed – Laois Camogie announced that the Club games schedule will not be completed in this calendar year. Laois Camogie announced on October 20th: “In saying that the health and welfare of our players and members is more important and hopefully the sacrifices we have endured with our activities will go some way to saving lives and eradicating this dreaded virus. All outstanding games (both Adult and Juvenile) will resume in the New Year, with exact dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Our thanks to all Players, Team Management and Clubs for their great commitment and co-operation over recent months. Please take care in the weeks ahead and hopefully we will all be ready to jump back at it again in the New Year.” This leaves our Minors and under 14s waiting to play county finals.
Supporting Local Business During Covid-19 Lockdown – During this break in proceedings, the Harps Camogie Club are using their resources to support local business in their “Promote local business” initiative during what is a difficult time for businesses.
