Married to local Durrow woman Gemma and living in Durrow for over 8 years, he has spread the gospel of Kilmallock hurling to a multinational environment with troops from Italy, Republic of Korea, France, Ghana, Serbia and Malaysia. All are rooting for the Limerick and Munster Champions in the big final on St Patrick’s Day.
The manager of the Harps Junior B County champions, has even spotted some hurling talent, notably scoring forwards, amongst the various nations. His younger brother, former All Star and Limerick senior hurler Andrew O’Shaughnessy will be togged out on St Patrick’s Day and hopes to bring the Tommy Moore cup home via Durrow on the night of the 17 th.
