Hurling-and-FootballSenior Hurlers: The senior hurlers got a much needed win under their belt when they faced Borris-Kilcotton in the second round of the Palmer Cup on Wednesday last with a 1-19 to 1-16 win. The team play again on May 17th against Borris-Kilcotton in the Division 1 League. Best of luck lads!

Junior Footballers: Under the stewardship of Gabby Irwin the footballers are having a fantastic league campaign thus far. Topping the Division 4 table with three wins from three The Harps face a tough challenge this Tuesday evening, April 28th when they travel to second placed Graiguecullen in a seismic battle to stay top of the pile. The following Tuesday, May 5th they will host St Fintans in Durrow.

Intermediate Hurlers: Following their opening round Division 2 away win over Mountmellick, the Harps Intermediates hit a wobble on Thursday last against a determined Park-Rathineska loosing by just 3pts. The lads are determined though to get it back on track when they travel to Camross on April 30th. [MATCH REPORTS]

Junior Hurlers: The Junior hurlers have suffered two defeats in their opening league encounters. The first game away in Ballinakill was keenly contested and were unlucky to loose by just 1 goal. The second game last Sunday saw a well polished Abbeyleix side rack up a 9pt win in Durrow. The Juniors though are in a big division with plenty more games yet to come. Hopefully they can pick up on a winning momentum that could see them surge up the table. Next up is Colt in Raheen on Saturday, May 2nd.

FEILE: Following the success of our hurlers in the recent Feile, the code switched to Football last weekend. The lads were unlucky against a strong Barrowhouse-St.Josephs team who pipped them by just a single point.
