CONGRATULATIONS to Tanya Aylward, Patrick St, Durrow and Patrick O’Shea, Gathabawn, Co. Kilkenny on their recent Engagement.

THIRD LAOIS DURROW SCOUTS: Third Laois Durrow is a very active group in the county and provides a great range of activities for its youth. We have 50 youth members at present and a dozen of leaders/scouters. There is a small waiting list for new members in September in Beavers (6 to 8 years old), Cubs (9 to 11), and Scouts (12 to 15) and Ventures (16+).
We are always on the lookout for new scouters. Maybe you were a leader previously and after your kids grew out of scouts, you left, by choice or not, maybe you would like to join us again and share your skills with new kids and new leaders alike. Or maybe you know someone that would enjoy being outdoors and join the big scout family.
And even if you never did scouting but enjoy walking and challenging yourself, you should give us a shout and come and meet one of our sections. For more information about or group, please contact Delphine Lawlor (086) 3655178.

CULLOHILL ICA: The next meeting is on September 6th in Cullohill Community Centre.

TUESDAY TIDY, CLEAN and PLANT DURROW NIGHT: Calling all residents to come out on Tuesday nights to clean and tidy outside your own home and premises, there is a lot to be done. Volunteers along with Durrow Development Forum, have been working over the past few weeks to weed, clean and plant around the town, all help is needed. If you can come out on Tuesday nights to sweep and clean around your own home it would be greatly appreciated.
Watering Flowers: We ask residents to help water any flowers planted in your area either in baskets, pots or flower beds.
