EXHIBITION – Art and Skills exhibition at Abbeyleix Library: Abbeyleix Further Education Centre presents their End of Year Exhibition Skills programme to include Art, Pyrography, Wood Carving and Upholstery at Abbeyleix Library on Thursday 5th June starting at 6.30pm. VITA: Vita is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of it’s founding by Fr. Kevin Doheny on Sunday, July 13th commencing with Mass at 3pm at the Doheny Homestead, Ballinalacken, Ballinakill. All are welcome.
Cullohill Cemetery Mass: The Annual Cemetery Mass will be held in Cullohill Graveyard on Friday night June 6th at 8.00pm. All families with relatives buried in this graveyard are asked to have their grave clean, tidy and colorful for the night’s Mass.

CLIFFS OF MOHER COASTAL WALK: Interested in a walk from Doolin to Liscannor along the beautiful coastal path on June 15th with an overnight stay on June 14th n Liscannor? If so, there are a few places left on this great break away. Contact Ann on (087) 7749281 for further details.

CLONOHILL GARDENS CHARITY – Open Day: The annual Charity Open Day at Clonohill Gardens will be held on Sunday, June 8th from 1pm to 7pm in aid of Laois Hospice and the new Solas Bhride Centre. Plant sales and afternoon tea will be available. The 1.5 acre garden features: woodland, lawns, herbaceous borders and a walled garden overlooking the lake. Clonohill Gardens are on the Laois Garden Trail and have featured on TV and in the Irish Garden magazine and various print media. Clonohill Gardens are just off the old Dublin-Limerick road the R445 (formerly N7) between Mountrath and Borris in Ossory. The garden will be signed from the R445 on the day.
