NEWSPAPER: There is a real need for us as Catholics to feed our faith on a daily basis. This is why our parish is partnering with The Irish Catholic newspaper with a special initiative for ten weeks from 9th May. Extra copies of the paper will be available for just €1 per edition for this time, and we encourage as many people as possible to pick it up. From hearing uplifting positive news from parishes around the country, to getting the Catholic perspective on the latest news, there is something for everyone in the paper. So please do pick up a copy, take time to read it throughout the week, and invest in your faith this Summer.
PILGRIMAGE TO LOUGH DERG: A three-day Pilgrimage to Lough Derg will take place at the start of June 2019. A bus will leave Durrow on June 1st at 7:15am, returning on June 3rd. The price for the Island Accommodation is €75 with an additional €40 for bus giving a total of €115. Contact Kay Downey on (087) 9912047 if you are interested in attending.
MONTH OF MAY ROSARY: The Rosary will be prayed at the Grotto in St. Fintan’s Terrace at 8pm each evening Monday to Friday throughout the month of May. All are most welcome.
COASTAL ROSARY: Each day in May 2019, thousands of people from all around Ireland will gather at their local Grottos to recite the Rosary for Faith and Life in Ireland. To sign up your local Grotto, text/call (087) 2786552 or at www.coastalrosaryireland.ie online.
NEW MISSION TEAM IN THE OSSORY DIOCESE: The formation of a new Mission Team in Ossory diocese is being explored.
