CULLOHILL – NATIONAL COMMUNITY DAY 2019: This weekend is National Community Weekend throughout Ireland. This initiative was introduced by Michael Ring, Minister for Rural and Community Affairs. ‘In a world where many people have less time in their local community with longer working and travel times, it is important to find new ways to connect people and focus on the importance of neighbours’. This initiative will celebrate community and bring people together. Cullohill Community Council will hold an event on The Rocks this Saturday night May 4th from 7.45pm. There will be music and light refreshments. The official launch of The Folly Festival will also take place at the event. All are welcome.
