Congratulations to the Harp’s Minor Hurling team that defeated Abbeyleix Gaels in The Midlands Park Hotel U17 “A” Hurling County Final on Saturday by 3-13 to 1-11. Big congratulations to the Harp’s U13 hurling team that defeated Rathdowney-Errill by 3-09 to 1-00 in the County Final. Congratulations also to the U11s who won their final too!!!

OUR LADY’S MEADOW SCHOOL NEWS – Sponsored Witchy Walk: A sponsored Witchy Walk will take place on Friday 25th October. Children are encouraged to come to school in their Hallowe’en costumes with loads of frightful fun guaranteed on the day.
School Closure: The school will be closed on Wednesday, October 16th for a Teachers’ in-service day.
DURROW LIBRARY: The Chatty Crafting Group in the library is going from strength to strength! Meeting at the library every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm. Come for the crochet and stay for the chats!
Lego Free Play Sessions are being held every Saturday from 11am to 12 midday. Duplo is available for younger builders!

SOCIAL DANCE CLASSES: There will be Social Dance Classes for Waltz, Quickstep, and Foxtrot, etc… held in the Ballyragget Community Hall every Saturday night from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
