THIRD LAOIS DURROW SCOUTS NEWS: While the Beavers are preparing for their 10km hike, the Cubs are practising for their Cub Challenge. What can you do with six poles, a few lengths of sisal, bungee cord and a small bucket? Obviously it is a catapult! No nails, no glue, just a few handy knots… anyone remembers the “clove hitch” or x-knot and tripods and lashings…?
