Sympathy: The Harps GAA Club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Dillon family on the death of Tommy’s mother Ann last week.

Underage Blitz: The Harps hosted a U8 blitz last Saturday, September 19th when five teams visited; Urlingford, Borris- Kilcotton, Rathdowney, Ballyragget and Ballacolla. Harps U8’s worked hard and finished victorious against Ballyragget in the final. A big thank you to all the parents who worked hard in the kitchen to feed the crowds!

Congratulations to Laois Camogie: Congratulations to the Laois Junior Camogie team that won the All-Ireland Junior title on Sunday, September 13th in Croke Park by defeating Roscommon on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-06. A special word of praise for all the Harps players who played a very important role in winning this title and in particular Louise Mahony who scored 7 points and was officially the player of the game. Not forgetting the great work done by the Harps mentors down through the years which culminated in this victory. Well done to all!

Strictly Come Dancing: The Club would like to thank everybody for their overwhelming support of the various fundraising events that have been held throughout the summer and indeed some still yet to take place ahead of the main event on November 13th and 14th. The efforts of all the dancers behind the scenes who are busy perfecting their dance acts for the two nights event are well underway with hours and hours of work being put in, is most appreciated. Everybody involved is looking forward to a great show in November!
