DURROW-CULLOHILL PARISH ANGLERS: The fishing club recently held a Trout Fishing competition for the SuperValu Cup. The winner was Brendan Sheppard; Second was Fred Townsend and Third was Seamus Stapleton. A Pike fishing competition for the Con Geoghegan Memorial Cup was also held recently. The winner was Tommy Coffey, Second was David Walsh and Third was Ian Drennan.
