CULLOHILL HANDBALL CLUB: ALL IRELAND FINAL WIN! – A Great win for Aoife Brophy last Sunday 30th June in the GAA Handball 60×30 Junior All Ireland Final. Aoife got off to a good start going 6 – 0 up. But her limerick opponent came roaring into it attacking Aoife’s serve and putting her under pressure with her own serve going on to take the first game 21 11. Second game saw Aoife take complete control winning out 21 4. This set up a tense tie breaker which was nip and tuck all the way through. At 6 all Aoife edged in front and never looked back, taking it 11 – 6. It was a cool and brave performance by Aoife and she richly deserves her junior All Ireland title!
