Hurling-and-FootballSports Capital Grant: Last weekend The Harps GAA were delighted to hear that an allocation of €90,000 was awarded to the project that will include a new gym room, toilets, ball wall and a new entrance to the club grounds at Durrow. Great credit is due to the Development Committee for their hard work in achieving the grant.

Double Silverware for Harps Teams: Last weekend saw the Senior hurlers and the Junior B hurlers in two league finals that formed a double-header in Rathdowney. The Junior B hurlers took to the field first to play the Division 5 Hurling League Final against Borris-Kilcotton and after a close fought game, the Harps emerged victorious on a scoreline of 0-14 to 1-08. Next up the Senior hurlers faced Clonad in the Division 1A Hurling League Final. The Harps played a good game of hurling with well taken scores throughout to win the final on a scoreline of 3-18 to 1-12. Well done to both teams on their wins.
