outdoor-party-bbqDunmore Community Alert Scheme will host their Annual Summer Barbeque on Sunday 20th July at Swan Cross, Swan Road, Durrow from 2pm onwards. While hoping to have as successful a day as last year, this year’s event will also raise funds towards the Dunmore Community Alert CCTV Scheme. Tenders have been received from a number of specialists in security systems with a view to erecting closed-circuit security cameras and vehicle number plate recognition cameras at strategic places within the scheme boundaries.

Please come along and support. Friends and family from outside the scheme are more than welcome. A good day is guaranteed for all and will include: – Music by Billy White plus Vaughan & Brassil; Bouncy Castle for the Kids; Auction of Premium Prizes; Raffle with plenty of smaller prizes; GAA matches screened live on the day; and much much more!!!
While some refreshments will be available for a small donation, please bring your own food. There is no need for every family to bring a barbeque grill, but it is hoped that each road will provide at least one grill for that road’s cooking.
