Our scouts travelled to Castle Saunderson, County Cavan for their Annual Camp. The title of camp was Camp 4 – the fourth camp in a series of National Camps with one more to go before The Jamboree which will be held at Stradbally in 2018. Our scouts had a fantastic time with activities including: pioneering, backwoods, drumming, rafting, kayaking and much, much more. We are all looking forward to camp 5 in Mountmellary during 2017. Happy days ahead! The Scouts also had a ball at Scoutfest in Garryhinch, where a relaxed festival-style camp took place with music and games. Our scout section is now closed until September.

The Beavers went two nights under canvas in Fota, Co. Cork – a first for some of the beavers. They loved their trip to Cobh on the train and the visit of Fota Wildlife Park.

The Cubs had two successful camps in Clara, Co. Offaly and in Castle Saunderson, Co. Cavan where they met new friends and had fun at mud runs, water slides, catapult building and hikes. The sun shone for these two camps and made them some of the best camps ever.
