Cullohill Handball Club News – January 2019
CULLOHILL HANDBALL CLUB: Well Done to Ray Fogarty on winning the Fogarty Cup in a great final against Tiernach Doheny recently.
A great weekend was had recently by the families who travelled to Mayo for the national Shes Ace competition. No luck this year for Niamh Dunne who was unable to repeat her great performances of last year. In the 17 and under grade Aoife Brophy won the Sheild beating Club Mate Lauren McGuigan in the Semi Final. Another great experience for the Girls who are competing well at the highest level of juvenile handball. Eaodian Whyte performed very well on her first venture out in this type of competition in 13 and under and will gain valuable experience. Orla Brophy has a great weekend playing in the 11and Under Doubles Competitions. This is a great weekend we’re many new friends are made and is a great way to get vital match practice. Well Done to all!
A busy weekend for Cullohill Handball Club was completed with the presentation of Leinster Club Man of The Year to Eamon Doheny at the Leinster GAA Handball Convention at Leixlip.
