Cullohill ICA Guild meeting of November 2014
The monthly meeting for November was well attended. Votes of sympathy were extended to families of Late Maura Lowry, to Sheila McEvoy on death of Sean, and to Mary Kavanagh on death of her father Robert Flusky, St Mullins. The Guild congratulated the organisers for the wonderful gathering of the past pupils of Cullohill and Gurteen Schools. Congratulations were extended also to Avril Deegan (Pictured bottom left) on her success in Bahrain Marathon and to Jim Ryan on his ploughing success in Ratheniska. Members attended the Kathleen Gorman Lecture in Abbeyleix and cookery demonstration in Telfords. Well done to Ann Delaney on being short listed to represent Laois in “Celebration Cake” contest in An Grainan. Mass for deceased members will be held on Saturday November 15th at 8pm in Saint Tighearneachs Church. The raffle was won by Agnes Barnaville, Mary Bergin and Nancy Phelan. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday December 2nd at 8pm in Cullohill Community Centre.
