This September, Home Instead Senior Care is running a Free Dementia Workshop in the Maldron Hotel, Midway, Abbeyleix Rd, Portlaoise on Tuesday 27th September from 7pm to 9pm. All are Welcome. This FREE educational workshop helps Family Carers and those concerned about dementia how to provide individualised relationship based care that:

  • Helps maintain a safe and calm environment for the person with dementia;
  • Encourages engagement;
  • Helps minimise symptoms;
  • Honours who the person was in earlier life;
  • Supports the entire family.
