DURROW-CULLOHILL ANGLING CLUB: The Durrow-Cullohill Parish Anglers held their AGM last Friday night in the Presentation Centre. It was well attended with the following officers were elected for the coming year: Chairman – Tommy Coffey; Vice-Chairman – Alan Dwyer; Secretary – Mick Walsh; Treasurer – Oliver Lawlor; Assistant Treasurer – Patrick O’Regan; Safety Officer – Philip Kearney. The following Committee members were then added: Gerrard Margaret, David Walsh, Simon Dwyer, Jonathan Stapleton, Pat Dunphy and Seamus Coffey.

There will be a Pike Fishing Competition on February 17th – all members will get a text message with all the details of the competitions. Trout fishing competitions start on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th for

the Michael Walsh Cup and on March 24th for the Bill Lawlor Memorial Cup. Membership fees remain the same as last year and can be purchased at Susan Lawlor’s “Gala”, Durrow; Daybreak, Durrow; Lawlor’s Flower Shop, Durrow and from Michael Walsh, Club Secretary.
