THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

The Master came on earth to save the Gentile and the Jew. He came to lift our vision to a wider, grander view. He came to turn the thoughts of men away from self and sin – and to tell the tidings that God’s Kingdom is within.

*****************

Quiet are the woods for the song birds are dumb,
Knowing the hint of the winter is come,
Hushed is the garden and silent the lane,
But there’ll be sunshine and music again.
This is the promise to which we shall cling,
While we are waiting and dreaming of Spring.
