The Harps senior hurlers recorded their second win on the trot in the Leinster league with a hard fought win over Crumlin last Monday.  Played under lights on the Heywood astro turf pitch, The Harps were pushed all the way by the skilful, determined Dublin outfit.  In a very even opening half there was very little between the sides.  Good points from play by John Brophy, Pat Walsh and Shane Donoghue were answered each time by Crumlin.  With half time approaching a good goal from play by Mick Lanigan gave The Harps parity to leave the score at the break 1-07 apiece.

The Harps opened the second half at a blistering pace as they sent over points from all angles with Mick Lanigan in particular to the fore.  Eoin Clancy and Conor Brophy added points to open up a 7 point lead with 40 minutes played.  Indiscipline crept into The Harps game however and Crumlin began to claw their way back into the game with a number of converted frees.  When Crumlin scored their second goal the pressure mounted for The Harps, but late scores by Lanigan, Clancy and Pat Walsh sealed the win for The Harps on a full time score line of The Harps 1-18 Crumlin 2-12.

The Harps play Bray Emmets in Co. Wicklow on Saturday 19th of March at 3pm in the final round of the Leinster League.
