Laois-Camogie-2014Best wishes to the Laois Senior Camogie team who will play County Down in the All-Ireland Final at Croke Park, Dublin on September 14th. The Laois camogie girls are playing in their second All-Ireland Final in two years. The girls have been really up for the game this year and all year long they have been putting in so much dedication and commitment to all the trainings and matches. After last year’s defeat they feel like they have a point to prove, and by the grace of God they intend on doing it! This year the girls that are playing on the Laois Camogie team from the Harps camogie club are; Louise Mahoney, Elaine Mahoney, Joan Dollard, Claire Walsh, Joanne Prior, Rosie Phelan and Lorna Campion, all of whom have seen game time for Laois this year under the management team lead by David Cuddy. The chairman of the Laois County Board is also a local, Johnny Campion. Please come out and support the girls. Throw in is at 12pm and after previous encounters with Down, this proves to be an epic encounter!
