Ministers of the Word: Bishop Seamus Freeman, Bishop of Ossory and The Adult Development are organising two training evenings for existing and new readers. This will give every reader an opportunity to attend and to get spiritual guidance from the instructors, Fr. Sean Maher and Fr. Kieran O Shea. The theme for the two nights are “ Putting Flesh on the words, the bible and its importance to our faith community” and “Word made Flesh, the ministry of bringing God’s word to life”. We have a wonderful set of readers in Durrow but we would encourage you to attend at least one of these nights so as we all understand the vital role we play during every Mass that the Word of God is read. The nearest venue is St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyraggett on Wednesday November 25th at 7.30pm speaker Fr. Sean Maher and Wednesday December 2nd at 7.30pm speaker Fr. Kieran O Shea. For more details please contact Canon O’Doherty or Martin Lawlor.
