DURROW DEVELOPMENT FORUM AND DURROW TIDY TOWNS AGM 2021: The Durrow Development Forum AGM will take place on Monday 15th February 2021 at 8pm, followed by the Durrow Tidy Towns AGM. Due to Covid-19 restrictions both AGM’s will be online through Zoom.
If you have not used Zoon or don’t have the facility to do so but would like to be involved in either DDF or Tidy Towns, please email secretary@durrow.ie or text 0879626350
We would hope that residents, clubs, organisations and businesses would attend these important meetings so that you can have your say and input on maintaining and improving the beautiful village that we live and/or work in.
BEFORE THE AGM
Q. Why is the AGM virtual?
A. DDF/Tidy Towns have been closely monitoring the Govt. COVID-19 public health guidelines, with a view to holding a live AGM when possible however, the further tightening of numbers for public gatherings means that a live event was simply not feasible. Hence the decision to run a virtual event.
Q. When & how will the AGM happen?
A. It will be held online on the ZOOM platform at 8pm on Monday 15th February 2021
Q. Who Is Eligible to Attend?
A. Persons living or working in Durrow are eligible and encouraged to attend the AGM. As this event is virtual, pre-registration is required by emailing secretary@durrow.ie no later than 5pm, Friday 12th February. Entry to the virtual room will strictly be limited to those who have pre-registered.
HOW WILL THE MEETING BE RUN
The objective is to simulate a live event in so far as possible through the appropriate use of technology.
Q. How Can a person Access the Virtual Meeting?
A. The AGM will be held on the ZOOM virtual platform. A private link to access the meeting will be emailed to all registrants on the morning of the AGM. Those wishing to attend DDF AGM should click to join at 8pm, those wishing to join Tidy Towns AGM should click to join at 8.40pm, there may be a slight delay in joining so please bear with us. There is no restriction and persons who wish to attend both meetings are welcome to do so.
A. While it is hard to predict an actual duration, the expectation is that the AGM should be complete within 40-60 minutes. To facilitate this, papers will be made available in advance to those registered where possible i.e. agenda, minutes from last year.
Q. What if I have further questions on the AGM?
A. Please email secretary@durrow.ie and we will endeavour to answer any queries as best we can.
Many thanks for your cooperation and we look forward to having a healthy attendance at the AGM.
