ATHLETICS: A huge Congratulations to Cullohill’s Avril Deegan on her most recent All Ireland title success. On a scorching afternoon in Tullamore Avril ran a tactical race and fought off tough opposition to take gold in the All Ireland U23 Ladies 1500m final. This was a fantastic achievement for the young athlete as she steps up from Junior to U23 level! Well done and continued success to Avril.
