With summer just around the corner, Durrow Development Forum Tidy Towns committee have launched the Durrow Tidy Towns Facebook page to help get the word out about their planned initiatives for projects aimed at boosting the competitiveness of the town in the upcoming National Tidy Town’s annual competition.

The competition has changed much in recent years, whilst the traditional litter picking and flower planting activities form a strong part of the scoring criteria – new sections have been introduced to emphasise the importance of being eco-friendly and looking after wildlife, etc…

To keep up-to-date on all initiatives and help get the message out, DDF have decided to set up a dedicated page that Facebook users can follow. The page is available at: https://www.facebook.com/DurrowTidyTowns and everybody is encouraged to get involved and help make Durrow become a strong competitor in the upcoming National Tidy Towns competition.
