HARPS GAA Race Night: Our Annual Race Night will be held on Saturday the 15th of July in Lennons Bar, Durrow. The night, previously advertised for July 1st was changed due to unforeseen circumstances. We ask everybody to please support this vital fundraiser for the Club on the night via the Auction Race. We look forward to seeing you on the night for some great craic.
Championship Matters: July is now upon us and the Championship is ready to get going in earnest. Our Senior A Hurlers open their campaign with a tough assignment against Rosenallis on Sunday, July 16th. We ask all supporters to come along to Mountrath for this 7pm throw-in.
Junior Cs: Before that, our Junior C hurling team play against Castletown this Thursday evening, 13th July at 7.30pm in Durrow. We hope to have a great home support for the lads in this first round fixture.
Junior As: A time and venue has yet to be announced by Laois GAA for the Junior A hurlers opening championship clash, also with Castletown which is due to be played on Friday, July 21st at 7.30pm.
U14s: Next Friday July 14th, our U14 football team welcome Clonaslee to Durrow for a 6.30pm throw-in.
Junior Football Team: Our football team did not enter the league again this year, but they have been preparing well for their opening game against St. Joseph’s which will take place on Thursday, July 27th at 7.30pm. A venue has yet to be announced by Laois GAA for this game, so please keep an eye on the Club’s Twitter and Facebook pages for further information closer to the time.
Minor Football Team: Timahoe will host The Harps and St. Joseph’s on Monday, July 24th at 7.30pm in the Minor Football Championship opening round.
U16s: The third round of the U16 football championship sees The Harps playing Ballylynan at home on Friday, July 21st at 6.30pm. We wish all the teams the very best of luck in their upcoming campaigns!
