Harps-Laois-County-Board-Draw-2015County Board Draw: A big congratulations to Pat Walshe, Cork Rd, Durrow who won €3,000 in the Laois County Board Draw and to Pat Barnaville, Cullohill Village who won €500. Senior Hurlers: The senior hurlers play next on May 17th against Borris-Kilcotton in the Division 1 League in Borris-in-Ossory at 7pm. Best of luck lads!
Junior Footballers: The footballers suffered a narrow defeat away to Graiguecullen two weeks ago but bounced back to beat St. Fintans at home on Wednesday night last by the narrowest of margins. The football team will travel to Arles-Kilcruise for their next game on Wednesday night, May 13th at 7.30pm.
Intermediate Hurlers: The Intermediate hurlers suffered a second defeat in the league away to Camross on April 30th and now must rebuild for their next game at home to Castletown-Slieve Bloom on Friday night, May 15th at 7.30pm in Durrow.
Junior Hurlers: The Junior hurlers will take on Mountrath in Durrow this Saturday, May 9th at 6.30pm – please note that this game was originally fixed for Tuesday night, May 12th at 7.15pm in Durrow.

Feile: Hard luck to our U14 Footballers who lost out in their opening game to St. Josephs-Barrowhouse by just a single point.

Harps Juvenile Table Quiz: The Harps Juvenile Club are running a Table Quiz next Friday night, May 15th, at 9.00pm in The Castle Arms Hotel. The fundraiser is going towards the Harps U14 Feile Hurling Team which recently qualified for the National Feile na nGael Finals which are being hosted in Ulster. The Feile is on June 19th, 20th and 21st with The Harps heading to Dungiven Derry for the weekend. There are a lot of costs associated with the trip and all support next Friday night would be greatly appreciated

Camogie: U8/U10 camogie training has recommenced for girls born in 2005/6/7/8. Training is taking place at 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings in the juvenile pitch in Durrow. Membership (including insurance) is €20 for the year.

Volunteers Wanted! The Harps GAA are on the look out for a volunteer to help out with our live match updates. If you are handy with a smartphone and have a generous data allowance from your mobile phone provider, then we want your help! The Harps GAA has a massive online following with over 400 Twitter and 500 Facebook followers. As a club we want to bring our games to our audience who may be exiled abroad, unable to attend games owing to health, age, ability, work commitments, education etc… Getting the games to our fans is vital for the club to keep interest at the forefront.
