ROADWORKS: Lagan Asphalt on behalf of Laois County Council we will be carrying out pavement improvement works on a section of the N77 in Durrow from Chapel Street to the speed limit signs beyond Derrywood Estate. Works will commence on Tuesday the 6th of November and will be completed by week ending the 30th of November.
The road will be under a stop/go operation for the duration of the works so we would ask that you follow the traffic flow in the direction that you wish to travel. Local access will be maintained at all times for home owners. Delays are to be expected on the N77.
There will be heavy plant and machinery involved in this re-surfacing so please take care entering and exiting your house as you will be going through an active site.
An outline programme of works will be as follows:
November 6th to 9th — Hours 8.00am to 6.00pm — Footpath renewal & drainage works in the vicinity of St Fintans Terrace.
November 13th to 19th — Hours 7.00pm to 6.00am — Night time work carrying out the resurfacing of the N77.
November 19th to 28th — Hours 3.00am to 6.00pm — Reinstate roadmarkings & raising of ironwork.

On Tuesday the 13th & Wednesday the 14th of November we will be carrying out resurfacing works on Mary Street between 7.00pm and 5.00am. We would ask the no vehicles are parked on Mary Street and Old Chapel Street on Tuesday & Wednesday nights during these hours to accommodate these works. There will be heavy plant and machinery involved in this re-surfacing so please take care entering and exiting your house as you will be going through an active site.

Lagan Asphalt will endeavour to cause minimum disruption during the works and thank you for your co-operation.

Yours faithfully.
