Seamus Stapleton wins recent Trout Fishing Competition

The Durrow-Cullohill Parish Anglers held a trout fishing competition for the Michael Monahan Memorial Cup recently. The winner was – Seamus Stapleton; Second –  David Walsh; Third – Seamus  Coffey. The U14s was won by Lee Coffey with David O’Regan in Second while the U16 was won by Patrick O’Regan. On Sunday July 12th there will be another fishing competition but because of the dry weather no decision is made on whether it’s Pike or Trout as of yet. It will be decided during the week up to the competition. All members will receive “text” message during the week with full details of all competitions.
