HARPS GAA – AGM 2019 – Adjourned until January 13th: A large crowd was in attendance last Sunday, January 6th at the Clubhouse for the Annual General Meeting. The meeting commenced with review of last year’s AGM followed by an indepth report from the club’s secretary, Dave Finnegan. The chairman Seamus Campion then invited the treasurer Imelda Galvin to give a detailed breakdown of the Club’s financial report. This was followed by a report from the juvenile section Secretary Enda Murphy. All reports were adopted. Attention then turned to the election of officers. Jimmy Fogarty was re-elected Club president. However, the appointment of Chairman failed to go through with no nominations received following Seamus Campion’s decision to call time on his five year term. The AGM was subsequently adjourned and another meeting will take place at 5pm this Sunday, January 13th in the Clubhouse. All are most welcome to attend.
